Welcome and Happy New Year!

Happy New Year and Welcome!  Thanks for stopping by and visiting my new blog!  I hope share great tips and teaching ideas for use in the elementary classroom!  To start things off, I have linked up with Jessica at Second Grade Nest to talk about a few goals and resolutions for the upcoming year. Hope you enjoy!

I really want to start to eat healthier and visit our local restaurants a little less often. With my family's schedule this is really going to be a challenge. My husband and I both work late and our daughter has extracurricular activities each night.  By the time we get home, it is easier and quicker to run down to one of our favorite restaurants, and grab a quick dinner. But in the long run, it will be healthier for us to eat at home and save us quite a bit of money.  I think I need to start by planning out a weekly menu, prep and do as much as I can on the weekend,  and then stick to the plan.

My goal at work is to really organize myself and my room.  I have so many things that need to be filed, put away, thrown away and organized.  This task is daunting, but I really want to work towards doing it.  Even if I spend 15 minutes each day after school tackling a small area.

I would really like to take a road trip this summer and visit several states.  My husband is ready and willing.  Now I just need the time to just plan out our trip!

I would really like to try more items at our favorite Asian restaurant.  They specialize in a Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese fusion type cuisine.  I usually order the same things, but want to be more adventurous and try different items from their menu.

I want to learn how to use Photoshop.  I would really love to be able to explore my creative side with digital imaging.

I want to read more!  I have so many books that are sitting untouched on my bookcase.  I love to read and just haven't had the time to do it lately.  Bingewatching on Netflix may be a small contributor to the fact that I have no time to read! Yikes!

I want to accomplish success in my new blog and my TPT store.  This January 31st is the one year anniversary of the opening of my TPT store.  It has been an incredible journey.  I have learned so much and become connected with a great group of educators.  I look forward to the coming year and will continue to learn and improve.  As I set out on this new blogging adventure, I hope to continue to learn and grow.

 Until Next Time...
